Post 13: Setting
My favorite movie is Kong: Skull Island. A team of scientists explores an uncharted island in the Pacific known as Skull Island. It shows many monster species living on Skull Island, such as dinosaurs, giant bugs, water buffalo, squid, bird, and skull crawler. Based on the movie, Skull Island is shaped like a skull when viewed from above, rather than simply bearing a skull-shaped mountain. Kong is the largest creature living on Skull Island. People try to search Kong to capture it but failed. The Island is filled with the largest ecosystems like trees, mountains, rivers, and caves.
The island in the movie is definitely a place where animals like the ones you mentioned can exist, although some are fictional. The island itself is really beautiful and is a direct reflection of the Hollow Earth. I recently watched Godzilla vs. Kong where they were talking about how similar both places are. Have you watched that one yet?
ReplyDeleteThis movie seems to be a popular between guys. Even so it is a great movie with all the action packed scenes. The setting of the island is important and even the name seems to be a reference to something more.
ReplyDeleteThis movie has a really cool setting with an actual Skull etched into the island. The setting gave off more to the movie as it first made Kong look like the villain until you realize that he's the guardian.
